Description: Bowling is currently offered in Staten Island. Teams of 4 bowlers are formed representing a school or parish. The season starts in January and runs for 9 weeks.
Everyone loves bowling as it’s a fun and competitive activity that can be enjoyed as an individual or team sport. Did you know that three games of bowling equals 1 mile of walking, all while using 134 muscles! Bowling also promotes math skills by calculating scores and averages. Over time bowling incorporates physics and science including understanding friction, ball motion and biomechanics.Regions available: Staten Island

STATEN ISLAND (SI) Bowling 2024
CYO and Rab’s Country Lanes are proud to present CYO Staten Island’s Fastest-Growing Sport: Bowling! We’re looking forward to another great year and are excited you found us here so you and your child can be a part of the upcoming bowling season!
CYO Bowling for the 2024 Fall Season begins on October 21, 2024!
Program details:
Bowling will take place every Monday, 4:00 PM at Rab’s Country Lanes.
The season starts October 21 and runs for a total of 9 weeks.
Teams of 4 bowlers will be formed representing your school/parish.
Competition will take place in 3 divisions: K/1/2 – 3/4/5 – 6/7/8.
All student athletes will receive a Jersey and Recognition
Registration Fee: $140 includes all of the above, plus use of bowling shoes and bowling balls during weekly play.
